Retirement

Any Professional Member or Licensee who is retired from the practice of the profession and who has been a member of the Association for ten years or more may apply to change their membership status to Retired, Non-Practicing.

To apply, please fill out the Request for Change of Membership Status to Retired, Non-Practicing form and send to info@engineersyukon.ca for processing

Your request will be given to the Engineers Yukon Registrar to take to the Engineers Yukon Council for review. The request requires a unanimous vote of the Engineers Yukon Council to be approved.

Retired Members retain the full rights and privileges of a Professional member or Licensee, except the right to practice engineering.

Retired Members are exempt from payment of annual dues however, they will be invoiced annually for the National Secondary Professional Liability Insurance Program if they are not paying it through another Canadian Jurisdiction.
