Administrative Assistant

Engineers Yukon is the regulatory organization established under the Engineering Profession Act (Yukon) to regulate the practice of engineering, to govern the profession in accordance with the Act, Regulations and By-Laws, and to establish and maintain standards of knowledge, skill, care and professional ethics among its members and licensees, in order that the interest of the public may be served and protected.

The ideal candidate will have proven administrative experience, including strong written and oral communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, sound organizational time management and prioritization skills. Experience organizing in-person events as well as online webinars using Microsoft Teams and/or GoToMeeting/Webinar would be an asset.

Duties include reception, administrative assistance, and event planning for the Engineers Yukon office. The Administrative Assistant will direct incoming calls and visitors, be the first point of contact for new applicants, provide support to Council and the volunteer committees including minute taking, coordinate events, assist with communications, and other related office duties.

This is full-time position, 37.5 hours a week, at an hourly rate commensurate with experience. Full Position Description: Administrative Assistant
