A Mobility Applicant is a Professional Engineer or Limited License holder who is applying for professional status with Engineers Yukon and is already registered and in good standing in another Canadian jurisdiction(s). The mobility process is simpler and quicker than starting a new registration process approval is normally granted within 30 days by Engineers Yukon upon receipt and successful review of the application.

All Mobility applications must include:

Please submit your application to: registration@engineersyukon.ca

Please note: Our membership year runs from January 1st to December 31st each year. If you are applying proactively for the new year and will NOT be working on any Yukon Engineering projects until then, we recommend waiting to apply in December. This will ensure that you have the option to defer your membership for the new year.

Once your application has been approved by our Board of Examiners you will receive an email with further instructions on how to complete the application process. Please note that we do not have set dates for the Board of Examiner meetings.

Please note: Further to the registration of individuals, the governing legislation in the Yukon also requires that all partnerships, corporations and other such entities, practicing engineering in the Yukon first obtain a Permit to Practice issued by Engineers Yukon. Please note that you do not have to wait to obtain a personal membership before applying for the organization Permit. On page 3 of the Permit application where it asks for a membership number you can state “Pending”.
